As given by  reports, A popular eatery 'Mat Ice' in Auchi, Edo state, has been shut down temporarily following the death of a young lady identified as Sarah.

According to reports, the deceased, a 300 level Nursing student of Edo University in Iyamho, went all the way from her school to buy cake for a friend's birthday at the eatery in Auchi where the tragedy occurred.

It was gathered that Sarah who was on high heel, slipped and fell at the entrance of the eatery. The glass door of the eatery was said to have choked her neck after landing on the ground with her head.

She  died while being rushed to the hospital after the incident.

According to reports, the eatery has now been suspended from operating for now after the death of the girl which happened three days ago.

Hello There,, Here is the news in Brief👇👇 The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has closed the sale of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms. The board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the sale of forms, ended on Thursday. Benjamin, however, said that online registration was still ongoing. Benjamin said: ”This is because some people earlier bought e-pins for the exams but were unable to register before now, so we are monitoring them online and would avail them the opportunity to register. ” Therefore, we cannot give the exact figure of the registered candidates for now until this is over. ” He added that the registration would continue until the board decides.
