Woman Flogs Nephew to Death over False Allegation (Must Read)

A 47-year-old housewife, Joy Egeonu, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb 6, 2019, for beating an 11-year-old nephew of her husband to death on allegation that he stole her N6,500 in Ogun State.

Although it was later discovered that the missing money was taken by her husband, the suspect was arrested following a report by the deceased’s mother, Ijeoma Egeonu, at the Agbado Divisional headquarters.

Ijeoma stated further that the incident happened on the 3rd of February 2019 and that Joy took the corpse of the boy, Chibuike, to Ifo, where she hurriedly buried him.

On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have suspected the boy as the person who stole her money, which prompted her to flog him to coma. .

She further revealed that Chibuike gave up the ghost while she was taking him to the hospital and that it was later discovered that the missing money was taken by her husband and not the deceased as suspected.

Abeg what should be done to People Like This !!

The board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the sale of forms, ended on Thursday. Benjamin, however, said that online registration was still ongoing.
